Remember taking turns on the crank of the old barrel-type ice cream maker with ice and rock salt?
This new tool works the same way but is much more fun. When you hae the gang over, just load rock salt and ice into one end of the ball, pour your choice of fresh ingredients into the other and seal. Then invite everyone to shake, pass or roll the ball around for about 20 minutes. When the ball is opened you'll have a pint of smooth creamy ready-to-serve ice cream.
